Aqua Life and Illustration

Magdalena Kaczi Kaczanowska is an illustrator, visual artist and art director from Warsaw, Poland. Boasting a fresh, preppy and colourful ‘Summer feel’, Magdalena’s work provides the perfect visual companion as we transition into the warmer months.

Her illustrations often feature water, sea life and the beach – interjected with some urban shots, portraits and quotes, to keep things versatile! Though she is based in Poland, her work has a very Californian feel to it and exudes a care-free beach-life vibe.

Stylistically, there is a combination of realism and fantasy, the perfect pairing of attention to detail and imagination. Her most recent pieces feature a signature look of sprinkled confetti, which add a fantastical element to a pair of vans-fitted-feet hanging out a car window and surfers moving through the ocean waves.
