May The Force Be Cute, Shiny And Simple With These Multi-Purpose Designs Taken From The Film

Jumping on to the Star Wars hype is old-time favourite Japanese designer Oki Sato, best known under his brand name nendo. Having featured him previously, we’re excited to showcase his latest release of abstract and adorable pocket-size Star Wars novelties:

“A wide variety of usage can be envisaged ranging from kitchenware such as cups, salt & pepper pots, stationary such as paper weights, jewellery such as necklaces, or beading several of them into bracelets,” he has explained.

Never shying away from a sense of humour, nendo has capitalised on the distinctive shapes of Star Wars characters while remaining true to his own style. In doing so, he successfully embraces the malleability of the shapes to suit a variety of purposes, both aesthetic and practical in application.
