Dean Bradshaw Celebrates Craftsmanship With Fly-On-The-Wall Photography When we last featured California-based photographer, Dean Bradshaw’s work, he was telling the visual story of elderly men enjoying a game of basketball, in an almost cartoon-ish fashion. This time he is taking us on a different visual journey, into the intimate workspaces of local craftsmen in Los Angeles, as a way to celebrate the hand made process and ‘reconnect with a more authentic, fly-on-the-wall approach to photography.’ Dean’s observations of a metalworker in Venice, and a carpenter and machinist in Downtown LA, offer a way to reconnect with a lost time, when most things were made by hand.
