HomeDesignWrap Up: 100 Patterns We Revisit Ben Barry’s Personal Design Project To See How it Has Ended A little while back we discovered designer Ben Barry’s personal project; a challenge to create one pattern a day for 100 days, with the strict use of only blue, red, orange and pink. Earlier this month he not only completed the project, but also surpassed his goals, reaching up to 101 patterns. We caught up with Ben to talk colour combinations and Christmas creativity. The Plus: Do you have a favourite colour combo? Ben Barry: Well right now blue, orange, and pink. TP: How does creativity come to you? BB: For personal projects like this I just do things I enjoy. TP: How will you exercise your creative muscles during the holidays? BB: I don’t plan to. I plan on playing vintage video games with my brother and enjoying my mothers cooking. I did make holiday gift wrap out of some of the patterns to send to friends as my holiday card this year. Leave a Reply Cancel Reply Your email address will not be published.
