California based photographer Dean Bradshaw aims to celebrate the weekend warrior with photography project, The Golden Years: Basketball. It tells the story of two elderly men enjoying a game of basketball, although some may consider them to be past their physical prime.

As an advertising photographer and director, Dean professes to be attracted to the ‘why’ of things. Its no wonder this project dissects the images that have been fed to us of by major sports brands, on what champion athletes should look like. Here we explore and what it means to be a physically active, and sporty person.
