Its a fun personal project combining their love and appreciation of landscapes with beautiful, dynamic pictures. ‘We didn’t think about the style, it just came about spontaneously,’ Leone commented on the dream-like effect of the video. He is now working on and editing for Jakrta fashion week. We asked Vicky and Leone more about this spontaneous project: The Plus: What kind of effect were you trying to achieve with the editing? Leone Stave: Basically, I love a quirky video. So I always add some glitch of some kind to most of my video. Vicky Tanzil: I took the video from my perspective, and then we decided mood and music for the video. We didn’t have a lot of discussion about this video, so we got a “surprise effect” and didn’t expect the final result. TP: Were there any complicated parts of making this video? VT: Mount Bromo is a popular tourist destination, and there were many tourists on that day. I wanted to make the video feel “alone”, for which I had to wait for the right moment. TP: What was it like collaborating? LS: We have planned to collaborate for a long time, so I’m very happy that I finally got to work with a very talented photographer. VT: I’ve always wanted to experiment in video. I told Leone that I wanted to make a video one day, then he insisted that I shoot a video, and he would take care of the rest. TP: It’s a perfect music choice. LS: I just picked whatever felt good and fit with the video I made.
